Carley Tigrett-Perkins is our Senior Litigation Paralegal. After joining Bellinder Law Firm in 2013 she began assisting her managing attorney in representing clients in insurance litigation, criminal law, toxic tort, mass tort, family law, collections and business law matters in Mississippi, Florida, Texas, Washington DC and Kansas. She has overseen multi-district litigation and has extensive trial experience in both federal and state court (to verdicts) as well as twelve (12) years of paralegal experience. She has a strong working knowledge of preparing a case from beginning to end. She is tasked with high-level research and drafting of pleadings. She is well versed in WestLaw and LexisNexis research and also has an in-depth understanding of the Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure.

Carley is a National Honor Society member and graduated as Salutorian with a 3.96 GPA in Paralegal Technology from Holmes Community College. She also attended Hinds Community College majoring in Paralegal Technology, Jackson State University majoring in Education and Louisiana Tech majoring in Business Administration. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Lambda Sigma Chapter. She played softball while attending HCC where they won the 1999 JUCO MS State Championship and placed 2nd in the 1999 JUCO National Championship. She is in the USAAA Softball Hall of Fame for her role as a “Dixie Darling” World Championship team winner in 1998. She was a recipient of the MTAG scholarship, and a full softball scholarship to HCC. She is currently the head coach of 6U girls’ Fast Pitch softball in Brandon, MS.

Carley is married to Barry Perkins, also from Brandon, MS. The Perkins are active members of Vision Outreach Church & Ministries. The Perkins also call Pensacola, Florida their home away from home.
